How Blogging Has Helped Me
Blogging has helped me know that I am not alone, and that I can help others. Knowledge is power, and the more that I can educate myself the more I help myself and others.

Why I Started Blogging
I started my blog because I could not find any answers to what was wrong with me, and doctors would say something like, we think you might have Fibromyalgia, but we will not call it that. It was almost 10 years, before a doctor said, you have Fibromyalgia. That day gave me a chance to say yes, now I can move on, and work on get better. Also start the process of beginning to understanding that things will never be the same, but I can still have a life. Well I am still on that long journey, but at least I am still moving forward, and going with the rolls.
How I Did It:
Wordpress is my friend. :) It just took some time and I had my blog. With wordpress, it is easy to update my blog, and to also back it up and update it. I needed something that I can post and manage with little time and work.
Lessons Learned
- You are not alone
- People are hungry for good content that relates to them.
- We are not doctors and should not act like we are, there are doctors for that, but we live with this everyday. I will never answer medical questions, but I tell you about my story. You can not doctor yourself on the internet, you need to find the right doctor for you.
- If we use our blogs the right way, we can be one of the greatest support system for ourselves and other patients.
- Be careful what you write on your blog about your doctors, because they read your blog too. LOL :)
