Once-Daily Ultram ER Available

Thursday July 13, 2006
If you take Ultram (generic name Tramadol) several times a day for fibromyalgia pain, you now have a once-a-day option. Ultram is now available in extended-release form. Prescribed for the treatment of moderate to moderately severe chronic pain, Ultram ER is intended for adults who need around-the-clock pain treatment for an extended period of time.

I will definitely ask my doctor about this, as I am also very forgetful about taking meds and often end up in mega pain, because of it. I have been taking Ultram for several years,as other pain meds are ineffective ( including tramadol, apparently the formula is not exactly the same for this generic). I sure hope this new one works. Thanks a bunch for keeping us up to date on new meds and products.I’m always praying for a miracle.
