I am so happy to hear that someone has won in a discrimination suit! My husband and I were discussing this issue a few days ago. We did not have the energy nor the knowledge to fight my former employer 12 yrs ago. I was given disability thru SS for Fibro, but my employer’s physician said that I was able to work! I just received my first pension check from my former job this month after waiting 12 years for the money and only because I turnedd 65.. Altho my pension was not a big amount, not collecting it for 12 yrs. added up to a huge amount. I am sure they hoped they would not have to pay me for too many more years since I am now 65.
