Research Brief: According to a study published in the journal Virology, the anti-retroviral drug AZT may be useful for preventing or treating XMRV infection, which may be linked to chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS or ME/CFS).
The study looked at 10 anti-retrovirals currently on the market for treating HIV. Researchers say AZT was the only one that appeared to be effective.

That is not very encouraging, as AZT is one of the most toxic drugs and causes lipodystrophy…

Just makes no sense to use HAART when there are things like LDN. Even for AIDS LDN is much more effective than HAART.
i am hiv+ and take protease inhibitors, and one of the cocktails has AZT in it. I have been diagnosed with FM, and take a form of AZT, and still have many symptoms – drs don’t know if its the meds or the virus(es) that are making me sick, but are leaning towards ti virus – so its a circle, at least for me, since I’m already taking AZT…

I have had the HIV virus for 32 years now. I am not on any drugs for this disease. I also have been given 4 death sentences to date. Yes I have been sick like everyone else but I guess what makes me different than everyone else is that I did not fall into the trap that doctors have gotten so many into. You have to realize that AIDS is a multi billion dollar industry. Yes I said industry. I currently am asking congress to open up hearing on the drug AZT and I want to know why are doctors not treating AIDS with Penicilin? It is just another sexually transmitted disease. It is not cancer so why did the FDA go to the NCI for a drug to treat HIV? AZT is a Chemo drug and if you give someone with HIV Chemo then you just put a gun to their head and you are just waiting to pull the trigger. My goal is to put BurroughsWelcome out of business along with GlaxoSmithKline. Are you aware that AZT is banded in most countries. What is it that they know that we are not being told about.
