Free or Low-Cost Drugs for Fibromyalgia & Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Wednesday August 12, 2009

How much are you paying for prescription medication? Newer medications like Lyrica, Cymbalta and Savella are expensive, and a lot of insurance companies won't foot the bill. I've been there, paying about $300 a month for something my insurance wouldn't cover.

You might be surprised to hear that a lot of people get those same drugs for a lot less money, or even for free. A lot of things are in place to help you (safely and legally) save money on your prescriptions. I've put together information on that for you here:

Low-Cost Drugs for Fibromyalgia & Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

I am very fortunate as I have very good insurance, Tricare (husband was military)and Medicare thus I only pay $3 co-pay on all drugs except $22 for Cymbalta. Doctor gave me a lot of Cymbalta samples to try to see if I could tolerate before investing money in Cymbalta. Only recommendation I have is marry a GI.
