Avoiding Pain-Killer Addiction With Fibromyalgia

Do you worry about becoming addicted to the opiates you take for fibromyalgia pain? Even though I know the addiction risk is only about 3% for people who don't have a history of addiction, I do worry about becoming dependent when I go through flare ups and take pain meds regularly.

I was disappointed in this article. The tips that are to referred in the associated article do not address the chronic pain associated with Fibro, which does not have a specific cause. Very disappointing.

I agree with Christine. Although there were some good ideas, the whole article seems vague and trite for people dealing with illnesses like CFS/FM.
