Unprecedented Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Research Program Set to Begin
NEWSBRIEF: The CFIDS Association of America announced a massive new research initiative to help identify biomarkers of chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS, CFIDS or ME/CFS).
The initiative, which is being funded by the CFIDS Association, is called the Accelerate CFS Research Initiative. It has awarded grants totaling nearly $650,000 to six research teams in the U.S. and Canada. Also, the initiative will help create a worldwide network of researchers so they can collaborate and share information more effectively.
