Why People With Fibromyalgia & Chronic Fatigue Syndrome NEED to Vote

It might be hard for you to get to the polling place today, but all of us with fibromyalgia (FMS) and chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS or ME/CFS) have a lot at stake in this election.

  • The U.S. healthcare system is in shambles.
  • The FDA is critically underfunded, to the point of being financially dependent on drug companies.
  • Prescription drug costs keep going up, and far too many of us can't afford the medications we need to be functional.
  • The CDC and NIH haven't given FMS and ME/CFS the attention and research dollars they need.

I don't know if either Presidential candidate, or any of your Legislative candidates, will be able to fix these problems. I do know, however, that we need people in office who will at least get the ball rolling.

So do what you have to in order to cast your ballot!
