HI….great information as always. A site that is commonly overlooked is www.cfidsselfhelp.org by Bruce Campbell. This is based on his popular book “Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia Self Help.” Bruce also offers online courses where patients (for a fee - which sometimes can be waived) can take actual courses in learning how to cope with these very frustrating disorders.
My doctor, Charles W. Lapp, M.D., Director of the Hunter Hopkins ME/CFS/FM Center in Charlotte NC (www.drlapp.net) highly recommends this book. In fact, it will be the basis of quite a few of our local support groups meetings this fall and into the spring of 2009. I’m fortunate to live in Charlotte and have Dr. Lapp speaking frequently at our support group. Bruce was at one of our meetings. Unfortunately, family issues prevented me from attending that one.
